Often the lone-dweller waits for favor,
mercy of the Measurer
Though he unhappy across the seaways long time must
Stir with his hands
The rime-cold sea,
Tread exile-tracks
Fate is established!
So the earth-stepper spoke, mindful of hardships,
of fierce slaughter, fall of kin:
Oft must I
Alone the hour before dawn
lament my care
Among the living none now
Remains to whom I dare
My inmost thought clearly reveal.
I know it for truth: it is in a warrior
noble strength to bind fast his spirit,
guard his wealth-chamber
think what he will
Weary mind never
Never withstands fate
Therefore, glory-seekers oft bind fast
in breast-chamber a dreary mind.
So must I my heart –
often wretched with cares, deprived of homeland.
My lord in darkness, and I, wretched,
thence, mad and desolate as winter,
over the wave’s binding sought, hall-dreary,
a giver of treasure, where far or near

This album is SO GOOD! Truly a hidden gem. I love everything about this album, from the acoustic guitar playing to the gritty vocals. Kick ass metal album. DFusion

Not everyone will enjoy the grimly impersonal and (dare I say) coldly clinical feel of Bmokatak's sound, but for reasons I'm not sure I want to dwell upon for too long for, it really works for me. The buzz-saw guitar work, the machine-precision percussion and gravelly-throated roars create an unmistakable emotional atmosphere. Ben Harris

Can you have your black metal with no moronic samples, with guitars downtuned to drill holes in your very self, hypnotizing bass lines, drums that are something more than blast beats and vocals that don't need to be soaked in reverb, and on top of it fast, melodic, headbanging and catchy?
Yes.
p.s. my grandma used to say: never judge a metal album by its intro. YomaBarr
